Jillian Freyer (b. 1989 Connecticut) holds a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and an MFA from the Yale School of Art, where she was awarded the John Ferguson Weir Award. She has exhibited her photographs internationally and has work in the exhibition, The Way We Live Now at the Aperture Foundation, which opens on June 27 and is up until August 16, 2018. Additionally, Jillian has work in the show, Unbecoming, at David Zwirner in New York which is up until July 25, 2018 followed by an iteration of the exhibition at LTD los angeles (August 2018). Jillian's work employs still and moving images to address the commingling of experience as touch and emotional and physical endurance performed through female bodies.
